I had a very poor experience with Dr. Nina K. Maw Maw. She prescribed an antibiotic based on a urine culture, even though I had no UTI symptoms. I texted her asking for an explanation on June 12 and received this reply: “Dr. Maw Maw isn't responsible for text messages.”After completing the antibiotic course, I developed ongoing gastrointestinal issues. Dr.Maw Maw is good but so is her PA and Nurse
Make appointment with her far in advance and you maybe get to see her but they are very good at switching you to an assistant the day before your appointment.
She is fabulous Doc. She listens to you gives great advice to you and will refer you to another for treatment if needed Martha and Lilly her staff are Just as caring as she is. I don’t understand why anyone could have a negative opinion.
Told by lady on phone that PRIOR to my visit I had to come to office and fill out paperwork before appointment. Front desk girl Extremely rude when I arrived. I had to take my Aetna card down (about 7 miles each way) just to her making the appointment. She then said that I also needed to provide my Medicare card which I didn't have with me. With all other doctors have filled in paperwork and shown cards day of appointment. I had my Aetna card with me but not my Medicare card. There are NO RUDER staff than Dr. Mawmaw’s. Look for another PCP.
If I could give a zero stars I would. Office is very disorganized. I called an made an appointment, which I waited 2 months for, on the day of I was told I didn't have an appointment. I was told the office manager would call me as she was not in the office, it's been over a month now and no call.
Dr Maw Maw is an amazing, caring physician. She listens and responds proactively. Her nurses and staff are caring and attentive as well. Can’t say enough about Dr Maw Maw.
