Thursday nights = wildest dreams come true – Belinis and shrimp bisqe.....could you ask for more??? Well I guess you could, and thats why there is Thursday night live band action and custom made martinis....Plus its a locally run Los Angeles family bussiness...rare and delightful, just like their son.
CLASSY UNPRETENTIOUS HAPPY HOUR SPOT – CLASSY BEV. HILLS RESTAURANT BAR. CAME IN ON A FRIDAY NIGHT (NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED). BEST HAPPY HOUR (5-7PM) SPECIALS YET! $5 FOR ALL APPETIZERS AND $5 MARTINI SPECIALS. FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL. ORDERED SKIRT STEAK SKEWERS, LOX W/ DILL SPREAD, CHICKEN QUESADILLAS (MEDIOCRE), AND CALAMARI. WAITER BROUGHT OUT CHICKEN SKEWERS MISTAKENLY AND CAME BACK TO FIX THE PROBLEM HASSLE-FREE. PORTIONS WERE PERFECT. WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK FOR MORE!!!
THE MMMOST SEXY LOUNGE EVER – Nic's is truly amoung the most fabulous of places that i have ever been to. The bar is excellent with more martini's than i've ever seen before.The food, drinks, and ambiance are worth every cent that i spent there . I am french and sometimes my accent gets in my way, Nic's even had a (quite sexy) bartender there that spoke my language. Me and my friends had a blast. i recommend going on a friday or saturaday night when they have a live band. It's awsome. loved the opium den.
Stewart and the boys – I've been to Nic's 3 x in the past month on a Friday night. The band is OUTSTANDING! And, the food is GREAT! We had the fabulous "Nic's Oysters," the steak skewers, chicken skewers, potato skins and quesadillas which were all GOOOD! Our waitress Elyse provided top notch service and the female bartender is the greatest! Nic's is every bit worth the price. Nic's has found a new regular.
The food was Incredible! – I took my wife and mother to Nic's on Saturday night. I can't begin to tell you how pleased we we're with our dining experience. It's not all that – So the pomegranite martini was good, that's about all. Made a reservation and we were seated right next to the band and directly in front of the bar. Don't like the feeling of being the only one in the room eating while everyone is up at the bar drinking. Aside from that, I was quite dissapointed with my dish. I had the eggplant. awesome oysters rockefeller! – this is the first time i ever tried them - and i have to go back for more. the place is very cool. great people watching. the martinis are also good -- the pink monkey was my favorite. great place to hang out with a group of friends. and again, the oysters rockefeller rock!
Great martini menu – The food was good...but definitely overpriced. I went there with one other person and spent $100...and that was on one drink each an entree each and dessert that we shared. The bar area on the other hand is VERY cool, and the martini menu is really awesome. I recommend going to hang out at the bar, or have dinner on the patio if you're willing to throw down some bucks.
Fabulous! – The sauteed oysters were truly yummy, the live jazz was wonderful, and the curry-crusted salmon was fantastic! The martinis were also good. I would definitely return for more!
