My mom was at Presbyterian Downtown Hospital on January 18th in the emergency room the staff room forever to get to her they refused to listen to her needs they didn't do a thorough examination. instead of admitting my mom they sent her home! now one week later she went to Lovelace Women's where they diagnosed her with a pancreatic cancer!!!!!! It's beyond me how a hospital can be so careless to misdiagnose a patient send them home with the wrong meds and do nothing about it. Not only did they misdiagnose her they gave her r... read more

I was told YESTERDAY by an ICU doctor that I’d be allowed to see my elderly mother (who is in septic shock) for an hour after passing a medical screening and today I am being told they only allow pediatric visits. I flew in from another state on short notice and I am the medical decision maker for a nonverbal stroke victim and they won’t let me see her for even one hour, despite their website saying they can make exceptions for medical decision makers and HER DOCTOR telling me less than 24 hours beforehand that they would al... read more

My son was taken there for a drug overdose, yes, he’s an addict but it doesn’t mean he’s not someone’s son, who is loved dearly and I’m dying inside because I’ve lost my son to drugs. The treatment that my son received and myself is disgusting and evil. When you stop having no compassion for a mother that is scared to death her son is dead and you tell me yes, he may be dead, I really don’t know, YOU NEED TO QUIT YOUR JOB, you have no idea the way you made me feel and you should be ashamed of yourself and the hospital should... read more

These people care when you need it the most and are willing to fight for you and your family. Their Pediatric Hematology and Oncology center saved my sons life. They are professionals who care but are willing to move quickly and to whom I will be eternally grateful for. NOT TO MENTION their radiology dept. who also goes above and beyond, had it not been for them we might have known to late about his cancer (Monica...yea she is amazing). And then of course Dr. Savo who preformed major surgery on my son and was for a while the... read more
