My brother in law was in there for heart surgery. I wasn't impressed with the facility and the employees. I asked the person who was manning the desk what room he was in. She said she can't tell me because it was against hospital policy. I then had to wander around the hospital until I found a nice person on another floor who would help me.

86 yo father with a History of AMI's x3, Hx of Triple Bypass and multiple stints. Goes in to be evaluated for chest pain after vitals taken and chest X-ray, sits in lobby for over 6 hrs without being seen and goes home. Saw another female pt in mid 40's with elevated B/P over 200 left after waiting over 7 hrs. Pt with open wound bled on floor in lobby, took nearly an hour to clean up this Bio Hazard had to continuously tell people to watch their step. Every hospital has its problems, and the ER is always no fun. But the caregivers here, in and out of the ER are genuinely caring. I think people do not quite understand triage, then bad reviews stem from that misunderstanding, at times. However, the people here, from the housekeepers to the administration, surgeons and hospitalists to nurses and techs have saved my life and my sanity. I will always go here. Employees in Er coughing without covering thier mouths, patients were being talked to with horrible attitudes!! The wait is ridiculous!! Ive had my test results back on my chart and have been waiting 4 hours to be sent home and yet employees are standing around. I would leave but my insurance wouldnt pick up the bill. I was brought by ambulance so Im sure it will be pricey. The same wait is why when I was at Kassman I stroked and it took several hours to be told and transferred to main Pres.
