Great food (huge portions) at a reasonable price and great service.
Food was very good. Beware that there is a service charge. This is in lieu of a tip. This was not obvious or explained and unbeknownst to me or my friend. We did in fact leave a tip. The service was good but not so good that I would want to leave a double tip. I paid the bill on my credit card and left a cash tip. Be sure you understand the bill before paying, so you don’t overpay. Not a good experience.
Amazing place with great food and cocktails. Love it
The News Cafe was one of the first restaurants on South Beach to draw people to the beach, with its quaint sidewalk cafe and news stand and delicious fresh food. I love the eggs Benedict Florentine and the tomato and mozzarella salad, which has an amazing basil vinaigrette and very high quality tomatoes. (Why can’t I find them that good in the store). Open 24 hours, this place is sure to please.
