I brung my baby to this hospital for her acid reflux, and I will say this hospital is most definitely UNPROFESSIONAL with rude service representatives and doctors! The nurses were helpful in making my baby feel comfortable but not the doctor! You Won't Believe How Horrible This Was!!! Two days before my mom died, she was in the ER here, and I called and talked to a nurse named Robin. I BEGGED THEM TO KEEP HER! I knew something worse than usual was happening to her, but they refused and sent her home. I even told the nurse that last time she was sent home like that, she was having emergency open-heart surgery two days later!!! listen and nurse pass information on to doctor.. so he won't write prescription to same medicine you already told them you were already taking.... and Big blonde Karen quit being such a judge and make statement thatt she doesn't know nothing about.. lack of communication.. period
My son went Friday night with severe abdominal pain and was told that their CAT scan machine was not working but it was probably a kidney stone so go see a urologist. How is anyone running a hospital without a working Cat Scan?
this is the worst hospital to go to get care of any type! The ER is like a third world facility..... I found the staff did not show any empathy or concern for the patient. I even witnessed a ma,e being carried it with a heartattack the girl at the front desk demanded a list of symptoms s before seeing him. really! he is having a MI and you demand the symptoms first but you are not a nurse or doctor!? like I said only go to this hospital if you have no hope and are going to die because the care or lack thereof will kill you. ... read more
Misdiagnosed separated shoulder for bruised shoulder. Admission staff was great, ER doctor’s first statement is he drunk after he just had a seizure and fell. Went to Prisma Health after release and found out his shoulder was in fact separated and not bruised.

I just had replacement knee surgery at Newberry Hospital 13 Jan. I waited till after to contact them about my volunteering as a chaplain/Ordained minister. I was told they only have christian Spiritual Counselling. I wish I had known that prior. That is why I give a No. If you're non-christian there is a part of your health that is of no concern there.
