I recommend only if they bring back Dr. Mark Zucker, the brilliant star leader of the heart transplant program. I am so lucky to have gotten my heart at NBIMC in August 2018 when he was in charge. Shamefully, they have turned their backs on him. But I have hope the administration will come to its senses and bring him back. Can no longer recommend the heart transplant program at this time.

I don't think I can recommend Newark Beth Israel after the way they treated Dr. Mark Zucker and the HIPPA violations suffered by the Heart Transplant patients

Lack of care and knowledge. Horrible experience last weekend, my cousin almost died from how they treated him. A nurse was literally in tears saying she doesn’t know what else to do, other nurses and doctors were extremely rude to my family as we were extremely scared for my cousins life. Luckily we got him transferred to RWJ, and they even said by the decisions Monmouth Medical made, one more day there we would of lost him.
