Some of y’all need to realize that this is a con run by PEOPLE. Run by FANS. Not some faceless corporation. There were plenty of instructions and tutorials, so many that all of my friends who have never done this before got their tickets without a problem. At least they’re doing something to prevent scalping, so we don’t have to keep fighting bots. I got locked out of buying tickets a few times before this system. a dream find a shape into the New York Comic Con
I had purchased 2 Friday badges during pre-sale. My second badge was removed from my showclix account recently but no refund was issued in place of it. I have emailed customer service and have not received a response.
Ticket (badge) purchasing process is ridiculously difficult. I was pre-verified and unable to purchase tickets during the early sale (sold out way too quickly), so I waited for the general sale and couldn't purchase because I was trying to buy for myself and a friend, but the friend hadn't been verified yet. Utterly frustrating and ridiculous. I go to multiple comic con's on the East Coast and this is the only one that makes giving them my money a painful chore.
