Each year I've gone to NYCC has been a blast! This is something every fan has to experience at least once in their life.

They've improved drastically the last 2 years. Ticket ordering used to be so frustrating and now it's getting better each year.

They did the shadiest move of removing their multi-day passes(2-days,3-days, Weekend passes) just to get more $$$$ from single day passes sales. Because of that alone, I decided NOT to attend their con this year after 10 years of attending. Plus it's gotten WAY WAY TOO CROWDED for its own good.

Jack the prices and the guest list it look more sad than a funeral home. Thank god , no more NYCC for me.

It was good. Then the lack of capping, kicking certain vendors out perm, increasing clusterfuck of restrictions, fan verifications crap that does not stop scalpers and throwing out the mutiday passes for good just ruined it. Not returning.

I have been going since 2012 and look forward to going again this year. Artist Alley always has a great selection of comic book artists and writers. Walk around and you will see some of the most creative cosplayers in the world.

Well I have mixed feelings. So 2016 was my first ever, and it was so crowded that I couldn't see or do anything. I didn't know the ropes, but I had a ball walking around meeting new people and taking pictures with others - that rocked. However it was soooo crowded that I began to feel discouraged immediately and honestly did not want to return. Now I hear that multi-day passes are gone, and I didn't even know VIP was a thing, so I am hoping that it is not that crowded and I have a better chance of getting a full experience. ... read more

Love going to NYCC every year. I recommend going to anyone that wants to hear about it. It's tons of people yea, but it's also tons of fun and you meet a lot of nice people. It's probably the highlight of the Fall for me every year.
