Everything is great, a little more effort (they really do a big effort) in speeding up the check-in process and it would be perfect.
Last year was terrific! Having increased the venues ( off sites ) has helped tremendously. With 100,000+ in attendance I know I can't see all I want so prioritization is a must and allow for ample time to make the event. Do this with friends and or make additional ones with the time to relax.
Same shitty con. Overrated and only try to scam u. The only thing they think about is to take the most from people... just because they have a name... Canceling guest last minute with no chance of exchange... opening a new and separated section for anime asking for extra money... well... money they will not have for sure from me... and from next year will invest in better cons #boycottnycomiccon

Presale was smooth got all 4 days like always and nothing sold out instantly, eather the Nycc is loodding steam or people are getting smarter.
Never had issues getting tickets and I havr been going for years. I decided not to go this year because this convention has gone severely downhill. They claimed they got rid of 3 day and 4 day passes to let more people in but then jacked the price of a single day up??? The Javits center will also be undergoing construction so they have less square footage to work with... I wont even talk about this years horrible guest list. Every year I get stressed with getting tickets, but once they are received I always end up having the time of my life! I kind of hope that there might be more charging stations since my usual spot in Artist Alley will no longer be able to be used.
I will like to go and see what-up with the collectors.
