Here’s a smoother, more concise version for a review: Visited on a Saturday night and had no wait for a table, with 2 - 4 seats available throughout the evening. Really cozy and intimate vibe. Great for couples and solo diners. A bit pricey for the portions but the quality of the ingredients shines through. For example, I ordered the kaisendon and didn't realize it came with uni. I usually skip uni because I'm sensitive to it if it's not super fresh, but I’m happy to report it was fresh, buttery, and genuinely enhanced the flavor of the bowl. Obanzai was also very refreshing and unique. I came solo but next time I'll be back with a friend.
We had an incredible dining experience at this Japanese restaurant! The drinks were fantastic—both the beer and the Sake flight were well-curated and delicious.
