One of the worst electric companies I have ever used. They refuse to ever work with you, they act like people don't ever fall on hard times. Bill is due on the 20th I get paid on the 21st, and won't let me pay it first thing on 21st. If it's not paid on the 20th power will be shut off and a $500 dollar deposit will be due on top of the $500 deposit I had to pay to even start service. They have the Monopoly and use it to their advantage. Poor customer service. Find every reason in the world to get more money out of people! Really sucks not to be able to have a choice.

We had an unexpected death in the family and I was looking for a community room to use. You can use this room for free regardless if you have New-Mac Electric or not. So I called down there and everyone so nice. The room was nice, plenty of tables and chairs even a tv to use if you want to use it for a slide show. My power went out in the boondocks between Southwest City and Noel. I called, they arrived, changed out my transformer, and were leaving in an hour and 10 minutes. On a Sunday and after dark. Special shout out to Randy Sutton!
