RecommendedI love that being owned by locals, all the business benefits the community rather than some remote entity. Also I love the bulk section where I can purchasefood without impacting the environment with a lot of packaging! In fact I even bring my own plasctic bags!

Hi Roger, I'm so sorry for the oversight. With the new Board line-up and some staffing changes, these updates simply fell through the cracks. We've got it worked out now, and I've updated the website through October 2017. I'm still waiting on the final notes from November, which are pending approval by the BOD. Please stop selling Ben and Jerry's ice cream, it tests very high in Glyphosate and the cows are in a factory farm environment

Hello Kathy - Thank you for contacting us and bring this information to our attention. New Leaf Market Co-op carries several ice creams and each has its own characteristics. Alden’s is USDA certified organic and is the least expensive. Our local ice creams are the most expensive and Ben and Jerry’s is priced in between. Many customers like Ben & Jerry’s social agenda and business model, but it is not organic. No single food is perfect for everyone.
