A complete Gem – I wish this is what all salons would all be likelike in Kansas City it is so creative and has a total carefree feel to it. I went to get a brazilian wax done, which I have never had one done before.I felt so at ease there. I am so glad that i came here first. The girls were all up beat and friendly, the prices were great. I will be sure to make this my only salon that i go to. In fact I'm getting my hair done Monday. I can't wait.. I love being there.
I'll definitely be back - love the results!!!! – I recently started working in the area and noticed the salon everyday on my way home. Since I have short hair and need more frequent trims I thought it would be convenient to try a place near work, so I looked them up and booked an appt that week. Loved my hair, hated the service. Avoid nail tech!!! – I went to New Creations based on the reviews on this site. I had haircut with color and a pedicure. The stylist, Randee did a fantastic job. I have curly hair and she gave me a lot of tips on how to add more volume and keep my color looking great! Although, my pedicure was a disaster. Fun Salon- Did a great job! – I had a great experience at New Creations! I actually called that day to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in that evening. I didn't know what I wanted but my stylist, Megan, suggested a couple of things that ended up looking great. My hair is curly and she helped me find a style that works for me when it's curly or when I straighten it. The atmosphere of the salon was very comfortable and fun. I recommend checking it out.
New Creations Hair Salon – NO STARS!! I called to confirm my appointment with Randee and the receptionist told me that my appointment was actually today, but not to worry Randee didn't show up today anyway. Not to worry??? No phone call to let me know that Randee wasn't there and that I was just going to be handed onto someone else, not to mention the receptionist made my appointment for the wrong day??? Pedicure disappointing – Sorry guys from new creations salon, you are nice but I am really disappointed. First of all, Sandra the owner was 1 hour late. This wouldn't have been a big problem for me but the other four hours I had to spend there just to get my ped done - that's too much!!! I don't know what Sandra was thinking ... she took care of me but only on one side - on the other she chatted around, took care of other customers and wasn't really paying attention to me. You can get a cut anywhere... – ...but you will get a style here! I was a little nervous (as usual) when I walked into the salon for my first time. But I felt welcomed and comfortable right away. Terrible Customer Service – I made an appointment for 2 facials for my sister and I, she was making a rare visit to KC. After waiting for 20 minutes, not being greeted or even acknowledged by any of the nearby stylists or workers we left. I was severly disapointed, we weren't able to receive our service and we were mistreated. We literally felt invisible. I was embarrased that I had planned this and was left with an unhappy result in our weekend.
