Wow. I just got home from my first visit to New Art Salon and am so excited to write this review! The atmosphere is professional yet down-to-earth, with absolutely no air of pretentiousness. I walked in wearing my hoodie and jeans and was greeted with a warm smile, and knew my business was appreciated just as much as that of the well-dressed, professional woman sitting next to me. Saw Amanda at the New Art Salon in January and received a wonderful cut and foil coloring!! Amanda was super friendly and welcoming and very fun to talk with. She was very knowledgeable and offered good advice on both the cut and color. Took the time out to fully discuss what I wanted before she began. It was obvious that she loves working with her clients and is very skillful with color application. Best foils I have ever gotten! I am about to make my next appointment with Amanda. Highly recommend!!

Roger Tschida is terrific! Roger has been cutting my hair for over 30 years. I'd follow him anywhere: and before he opened New Art Salon, I had! Besides being challenged by fine, straight hair and a cowlick, I'm not at all clever with my hair. Roger gives me great cuts that do all the work, keeping it simple for me. He is an artist and a craftsman. He loves what he does and it shows. He's the best of the best!

Best Haircut I have had in years!!! My hair is super thick and have felt like it always ends up looking the same....until I found Peter!! Thank you for using your art/skill to create a new look that is easy (yes, I know love the curl that I have) sassy and fun!!! Can't wait for you to add some new color as well!!!! I will highly recommend Peter's gift of talent!!

Thanks to Theresa for the fantastic cut over the weekend! She's always helped me feel more confident walking out the door than walking in! I've never felt more comfortable in a salon environment! Can't wait for my next cut.

Peter "Scissorhands" Gilliam! – Another great haircut from Peter, give him a try if your looking for a new stylist. Peter takes the time to make sure my hair is cut the way I want it without rushing me out the door. He is always concerned that my hair looks good to me and makes himself available for cuts when I need them fast. Thanks again Peter!

Amanda did a fantastic job! I found New Art salon through a Groupon, and saw Amanda. Her haircut worked really well with my wavy, thick hair, and she cut very cute bangs. I also received a deep conditioning treatment that made my coarse hair soft and silky.

Traveled 4 Hours and would travel more for this cut! – Anytime I'm in St Paul I call Peter at New Art Salon to see if he can squeeze me in!! I travel all the way from Sioux Falls SD to sit in Peters chair. He's always accommodating and I am NEVER disappointed! He works his cutting and jzujzzing magic to add depth and interest to a once boring head of hair. THANK YOU PETER for making this tired Mama look like a Hot Mama!

I Can Stop Looking!!!! – I have received so many compliments on my color and cut that Amanda gave at my first appointment. I have tried many stylists at very expensive salons and I was amazed that she could style my wavy, colicky, short hair and color/foil it in ways I didn't think possible. I have had younger people I work with, come up to me and say that I look really nice, which is a great compliment!! I will look no further!!! Amanda is an excellent stylist/colorist.
