unprofessional, lying on facebook and refuses to admit to their mistakes. botched the hell out of a girls haircut and now won’t give her a refund or even half of one. then got their employees to jump on here and make some nice 5 star reviews for them and lie some more. pathetic.
I have had my hair done by both Kaylee and Jennifer at both locations. They are wonderful. They listen to your wants and deliver EVERY TIME! The salons are clean and beautiful, and all of the stylist are very friendly and welcoming.

Lying about a situation with an unhappy client to save the image of your business??? Pretty pathetic. Get a new profession if you’re not going to do the job right in the first place. Also what’s with the “only issuing a refund if she takes down pictures of her hair” after YOU cut and colored it??? What a joke ! For anyone looking to get their hair done - PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!
The hairstylists at New Appearances Salon do incredible work!! Every time I get my hair done here, the stylists pay very close attention to detail and want you to love your look!! If you’re unhappy at all they will fix it as soon as possible and make sure you leave with a smile on your face! They’re so attentive and care for their clients on a personal level! The owners and stylists work so hard to give their clients an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be back! Thank you ladies so much for all your hard work☺️
I have had my hair done here for many years and have recommended Kaylee and team to several friends and Family! Kaylee and the stylists saw me through my cancer journey. From the time I started losing my hair.... then Kaylee shaved it off for me... the entire salon cried with me!!! Today... a year later my hair is growing back and Kaylee blew my mind with a beautiful color and style!!! Thank you so much!!!! I highly recommend New Appearances Salon!!!
The Sumner Location: Very unprofessional. Unwilling to work with customers. Lie about their capabilities before preforming work. Unwilling to to fix mistakes when given the benefit of a doubt. Then threatened a customer to take her honest review of her hair and services off Facebook or she would not get a refund. How ridiculous this small business acts. Thank you for finally giving her the refund she deserved.

This review was procured from a clients friend as retaliation on our small business, the unhappy client received a full refund on a color correction. The process was thoroughly explained to the client, that it could possibly take multiple appointments to remove the at home box dye from her hair. The color/balayage correction looked great, but was not the light blonde she wanted after the very first correction, which made her very upset. I’ve known Carly for years now! I’m so happy I came in and had my hair colored with her! She did such an amazing job with my boliage (I never spelt it right lol) and had such attention to detail while doing it. She also styled my hair, and my wedding parties hair, for my wedding. All of our hair lasted ALL NIGHT! We all got so many compliments on our hair and we all felt so beautiful that day! Thank you Carly, for everything!
