I can only describe my experience with Dr. Carp by saying that it is a peace of mind to be under the care of such a caring and knowledgeable doctor. She takes her time to understand her oafients’ Needs.
She is the best. Always caring and considerate. Takes her time to explain and address any problems or concerns.
My appointment was 2:40 and she didn’t see me until 5:00. I was given all kinds of excuses from her incompetent staff. I had a chest X-ray at Bethesda Health Centre and called her for the results 2 days later. I ended up calling every day for 4 days more because my doctor up north urgently needed them. She finally called me 8 days later and told me she just received them. I then called Bethesda and they told me they were sent the day after I had my X-ray. I definitely do not recommend her.
Certainly helped me. Thorough and thoughtful, Dr. Carp helps make my understanding of my issues simple.
Dr Carp asked me to call her office when I got sick and explain to whomever answered the phone at her practice that the doctor requested to see me as soon as possible I am coughinn like crazy and wheezing and the front desk person gives me an appointment for 8 days away! I beg them to please ask the doctor and I get a call 3 hours later for an appointment 9 days away!!!! Really!!!! I work in the health care industry and this is very poor quality of care!!!
Dr. Carp was the one who discovered my heart condition during a routine exam and saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and I will forever be grateful to her.
Very fortunate to have Dr Carp as my pulmonologist. She is brilliant not just in her area but old fashion internal med. making it easier for me as her patient not to have to run from Dr to Dr. in her office she has a Breathing test specialist so if you need that service-right there, I must add her office staff will go the extra mile for you sched. Tests, dealing with drug stores and Insurance Companies. No do it yourself, if you need help Breathing or other pulmonary function Call Dr Carp!,
HORRIBLE STAFF ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION OR BEDSIDE MANOR, NOT AT ALL WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE APPOINTMENTS OR LISTEN TO YOUR CONCERNS
During a recent emergency hospitalization, Dr. Carp was assigned as my pulmonologist. I found her to be thorough, knowledgeable and caring. She made a special effort to expedite my tests to accommodate my release from the hospital so my wife could take a planned trip. I plan to engage Dr. Carp as my regular pulmonologist and recommend her highly.
