Took my Mom to see this Dr as a second opinion. She suffers from COPD and stage IV lung cancer. Dr Carp was rude as soon as she walked in the door. We gave her the benefit of the doubt as she did suggest some new medication that could benefit her. I called her a few days later when I received the report on her recent CT scan. She was extremely rude and condescending to me and my only main concern is help my Mother. Dr Carp actually hung up on me!! Dr. Carp cares. She takes the time to explain things. She is direct and spot on. Her staff is friendly. If you need a pulmonologist I recommend this office.
Dr.Carp is extremely caring , communicates well, kind and understanding , and great in her diagnosis and treatment plan .I have personally been seeing her for years and I am most impressed . She takes her time answering all my questions and I highly recommend her . My Dad starting having heath issues in December. We made multiple trips to his Doctors along with 2 extended stays at Bethesda East. All ending with No answers. We were so very fortunate to end up at Dr Carps office. In the first Visit Dr Carp and Stephanie took their time and went over ALL of my dads test from his stay in the hospital. They spent a lot of time with us and within that first visit we were well on our way to having the answers we needed to control my Dads illness. I am so thankful to the entire staff.
My Sister took my 78 year old mother who has COPD to Dr. Carp. Dr. Carp did not spend much time examining her and bluntly advised her that she was at her "End Stage of Life" While this may be true she had no empathy or compassion giving her no hope. This put my mother in a bad mental state and depression. Also, the next day my mother picked up multiple prescriptions that were not discussed or aware of. I find Dr. Carp to be a very knowledgeable and caring physician. She listens to your concerns and gives you all the time you need I definitely recommend her.
A total class act! Dr Nevine Carp, MD is second to none in her practice. The office staff: Naijja, Elaine, and respiratory therapist Lauri know their jobs well and go out of their way to take good care of each patient. Dr Carp patiently diagnosed my issues and and got me feeling better quickly. I am grateful for her expertise and kindness in helping me. A sincere “Thank You” to Dr Carp and her staff for getting me back to a high quality of life.
Dr. Carp is a professional’s professional. I look forward to my appointments with her because she listens, questions, provides answers, never rushes me out, and puts me completely at ease. Her office staff is as warm as she is and treats me as one of the family. I have complete faith in her ability. Dr. Carp and her staff are a 10+!
Dr Carp saw my mother a 75 year old with Parkinson’s disease... my mother was very ill and everything that could go wrong was going wrong... including seeing Dr. Carp, she made an already bad situation worse with her incredibly horrible bedside manners.. after seeing my mother for all of 4 minutes maybe she brought my sister and I out in the hallway to tell us my mother was dying and we were in denial and handed down her sentence with utter and complete lack of respect or empathy for my family.
