Just happened to find these sausage in my local Wal-Mart -- absolutely the best sausage we've ever had. (I'm sure we're related but I don't know how. My grandparents were from Lake City.)
It's one of my favorites! I just wish I could buy it in Orlando.
I moved to Tampa about 5 years ago and i just found the 3 lb pack in a meat market here. It felt like Christmas cheeper that trying to buy it at winn Dixie love the sausage grew up on it execpially buying it at the county fair Thanks Nettles keep it up

Nettles is the most amazing sausage! My husband grew up in lake city, so he was spoiled on the brand, plus his step dad is a Nettles! When we go home the fridge is always stocked with about 20 lbs of it, plus mom sends us home with some, but is always gone in just a couple days! Miss y'alls sausage so much up here in PA!
This is the best sausage I've ever had. It's not greasy at all, its full of flavor that harmonizes so perfectly together. I wish I could get it locally, but for now road trips & mini vacations will keep us supplied. Keep up the good work. Thank you
