The workers need a class in RESPECT. The place was over packed and you are literally sitting in the person beside you lap. I didn’t even stay for the performance.

Last week was the last time My friends & I will ever spend a dime at Nellies...they have a very serious ROACH/rodents problem that will be brought to attention of DC health inspectors very soon!...my girlfriend ordered a rail drink and discovered the biggest cock roach in her drink...the roach came out of the tap! �which means the tap hasn’t been flushed, properly cleaned & sterilized... don’t drink or eat there folks!!! Management is more concerned about crowd control than food safety...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ���

Have had very mixed experiences here. Some of the bartenders are very friendly, others less so. Last night went to get a drink after work - bar area upstairs closed for a private event so I got a drink downstairs and went into the main room downstairs. Plenty of open tables and I sat at a two person table. Waiter told me I would have to order food or could not sit there so I was basically kicked to the small bar area where most stools were taken already to have my drink. I went yesterday for the Sunday Drag Show brunch for my birthday. Had an amazing time!!! Would definitely go again.
Loved the service. The Mimosa’s were great. Food was ok. . . But where they lacked in taste they definitely made up in entertainment.
Some food was amazing, the ribs and empanadas were legit. The price was high for one drink comp ticket. Drinks on the side cost $14.00... What? No parking. But that's D.C. my fav was seeing Carte B.
