I would like to personally thank the Labor and Delivery Staff of NMCSD for taking such good care of us. My water broke at 2am on Oct. 30th and my labor progressed painfully once we got here because i was already 6cm dilated. They tried their best to give me an epidural after 2 hrs and that's when things felt better for me; the contractions were so unbearable & severe, they almost caused me to have seizures. Not only do I feel safe, relieved and know I'm receiving the best care but my children feel safe here as well. The doctors and staff are patient, caring & funny. People ask me how I do some of the things I do alone with kids. Here, it's made easy. I have a big family �️ their love and support get me through my days!
The hospital is currently undergoing some renovation in every department. I have been to the hospital since 1980's & since then the hospital have change from the old to the new phase. My husband have been in the hospital in the 90's since his first heart attack from there I notice that each department have been renewed. I recently have my eye surgery last Oct.24,2016 . Boy the eye care center really have a big change newly renovated clean restrooms well organize front desk & well respectful attitude.
The Ortho department is by far the best department. The Corpsman and Docs are incredibly caring, and very thorough!!! The ER is just the opposite - avoid it at all costs :)
I like the service busy cause still working some erea but staff are good & frielndly.
I hate coming here! The ER wait is always horrible, the ER staff is always angry and they lack any sort of compassion for patients who are just seeking medical care. I've been yelled at every visit I have ever made to this hospital. Note of Advice to Staff: You work at a hospital, patients are worried and scared.....PLEASE TRY TO HABE SOME EMPATHY!!
