Dr. Nielsen was a phenomenal surgeon and did a beautiful job on my ankle. She has changed my life- I feel incredibly lucky! She is very professional and addresses all concerns with the patient. Thank you Dr. Nielsen!
I had been having ankle issues for a few years. Dr. Nielsen went above and beyond to help me figure out what was going on. The procedure really helped me and although I’m still healing, my ankle feels much better!

Dr. Nielsen was available for an emergency surgery on my arm ( assisted Dr. Markwith). She is amazingly talented. She is a very hard worker.

I've had issues with my left heel/Achilles tendon for the past six months. Went to a podiatrist in Florida on two occasions to no avail. Saw Dr. Nielsen last week and I cannot speak more highly of her profressialism. X-rays were taken along with a complete examine of my foot Explain what was the issues and fitted for a boot. MRI next week All the staff at North Country Othopedics group far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Dr. Nielsen and her staff. Five ?? you guys great!
I suffered with painful bunions for a long time. Finally had one taken care of by Dr.Nielsen and will have the other one done in the future. There was little pain and she was very honest about the treatment, surgery and recovery. She is such a kind and caring surgeon and is a rock star!! Thank goodness we have a great specialist in the north country. I would highly recommend Dr. Nielsen to anyone that is having difficulty with bunions.
