Dr. Nielsen successfully repaired my extremely complicated ankle breaks during an almost three -hour procedure. If possible, I would give her ten stars because she is outstanding in all respects. Prior to the surgery Dr. Nielsen explained the details involved in the procedure, expected outcomes as well as what to expect during recovery. Referred to Dr. Matas upon hospitalization for Afib. He was knowledgeable, informative, thorough & considerate. With no notice, he left & Dr. Hatfield took over whose visits were very hurried. She ordered a test with no warning that insurance may not cover & offered no help to rectify via a recommendation letters to my insurance like Dr. Matas had in past. Compassionate doctor with a great bedside manner!
On 5 14 2024 I had a Cardiac Ablation for Supraventricular Tachycardia WITH ABSOLUTELY NO LIGHT OR ANY KIND OF ANESTHESIA. I did not consent to this. The pain was in beyond excruciation. I would as FULLY AWAKE for approximately 2 hours 40 minutes asking over and over and very loudly for the team to help me. I said please give me anesthesia, I cannot tolerate this pain. Dr. Nielsen payed close attention as I described my problem , gave me a thorough exam, did outstanding surgery, thought outside the box, explained her plan clearly and answered all my questions. Dr Nielsen came up with an effective plan where other foot and ankle doctors did not. She is warm, caring and I never felt rushed. I had a very successful midfoot fusion and I am thrilled with the result. Before surgery I couldn't take a step without pain, I now walk without any discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Nielsen.

Dr. Nielsen is attentive, caring and an excellent surgeon. She performed a mid foot fusion and I am healing very well with a great result. Prior to surgery I could not walk to the end of my driveway without pain that stopped me, and now after 7 months I can walk a mile comfortably. The office staff is also exceptionally helpful and pleasant.
I relocated back to the Cape after being in Boston for 20+ years so I signed up with parents primary care, Dr Crosson. Let me say, he is kind, thoughtful and thorough. If you need a referral, he puts thought into it. His nurses are great. The phone system, not so much but care is important. He was in Centerville, now in Osterville and he's great. Also, nice thing about the practice, is if you have something like poison ivy on your face and he's booked or ooo, they find another doctor or NP to see you.
