Received care related to a labor and delivery visit, and months later we were blindsided by a notice from a collection agency—despite never receiving a single bill in the mail. You call, you ask how much you owe, you pay it, and then they send you another bill thats "overdue" for an amount completely undisclosed to you. You're not getting it.

I called them to set up auto payment plan. The billing person pretty much said I have to set it up through the web. Tried to set it up on their website, got an error msg which pretty much said I need to call them to set it up. So much trouble for trying to pay the bill...

Well. I am stunned at the stupidity. I just called them because I keep getting texts that lead to a third party billing asking me to pay my bill. Well every time I get to that link, it asks me to put in the last 4 digits of my SS. I kept doing that and it kept saying that the last 4 SS digit# doesn’t exist. So, I finally found their telephone number. I explained to the guy that more than likely answers from out of the country, and he says, you could just put in 0000 for your SS#. Billing Dept is riddled with incompetence. After setting up a payment plan through their office, I have gotten several notices that the bill hasn't been paid, despite making every payment on time. They have since brought in a collection agency, again, despite on time payments. Every time I've spoken with them they tell me it's resolved and then I get a notice the following month. I've never seen such ineptitude and I refuse to ever use their office again.
