I am writing this review on behalf of my 15 yo son who visited this place last week. He got his friends a few things to eat as it was his birthday but one of his friend's arrived late and said he didn't want to eat much so the kids only offered him their chips. The very kind waiter- Mr Abdi saw this and probably thought the kids were hungry and got them some extra chicken. We visited Nando’s on a weekend for lunch and were able to get seats right away, which was a nice surprise. I also liked that you can order through a QR code—it’s very easy, convenient, and makes the whole process smoother. The food was good, especially the flavors of their grilled chicken. Why is everything so salty? We ended up throwing away all three sides from our pickup order because they were completely over-salted. This is the second time it’s happened. We gave the benefit of the doubt the first time and assumed it was a one-off, but now it seems to be a recurring issue. It’s incredibly disappointing to pay for food that’s inedible.
The worst dining experience I ever encountered. Upon arrival I noticed how unfriendly the staff are. The tall African male in particular is the rudest person I experienced in Melbourne. It was only 9pm when my food arrived. He then proceeded to re-arrange the furniture and started packing things up although the store only closed at 20pm.
