I left my appointment with Dr. Magar feeling incredibly dismissed and upset. When she asked questions, she did not actually care to listen to my answers and made me feel like she only wanted a 'yes or no' or a short response. I felt extremely rushed, less than, and not important. Furthermore, she claimed I had sinus and ear problems due to tobacco use disorder—even though I did not go in for any sinus or ear issues at all. I love Dr. Magar; she interacts very well with me. She dives deeper into explanations. I highly recommend her.
Would not recommend. Unfortunately, when going to her throughout the years I discussed my allergies with her one time and she stated that I did not have them. Instead, she told me to wear sunglasses and a face mask anytime I am outside. She stated to not be around anything that was causing this. I told her that wasn't realistic or a good way to live life, but she did not care. She did not do any sort of check ups. Turns out I finally went somewhere else and got the care I needed. Don't recommend her at all. Tried getting my legs looked at cause I was suffering from varicose vein pain and spider veins. Didn't listen to me again just like other visits with her. All she did was make me walk back ,forth on my painful legs and felt them. Her diagnosis was it was the muscle when clearly it was the veins that were sticking out. Tried telling her compression socks dont work yet she recommended waist high ones. Last minute she recommended to come back if my veins bother me to see if I would be a candidate for... read more
