I love Dr. Magar; she interacts very well with me. She dives deeper into explanations. I highly recommend her.
Would not recommend. Unfortunately, when going to her throughout the years I discussed my allergies with her one time and she stated that I did not have them. Instead, she told me to wear sunglasses and a face mask anytime I am outside. She stated to not be around anything that was causing this. Don't recommend her at all. Tried getting my legs looked at cause I was suffering from varicose vein pain and spider veins. Didn't listen to me again just like other visits with her. All she did was make me walk back ,forth on my painful legs and felt them. Her diagnosis was it was the muscle when clearly it was the veins that were sticking out. Not my dr. She is my mother's dr. I called to discuss my mother's lack of care at home. The nurses could not wait to share this with her care giver, who is not capable. Shame on them.
Went in for an annual physical that has been covered by insurance 100% the last 6 years with BCBS at a different provider. After advising the doctor I was only in for an annual physical which is covered by my insurance I receive a bill a month later. Insurance states the doctors care went above and beyond preventative care. My insurance company has tried to do everything they can to get the Dr. Office to change how I was billed, but they refuse to change it.
