Mint Hill location: Done doing business with this place. I returned for my annual checkup and was treated like I was burden to the front desk, when I returned again to pick up lens was treated like I was interrupting her day. She snatched the glasses to replace the lens, then all but threw them back at me with a huge smudge, asked her for a cloth to clean them she snapped at me saying they don't need cleaning. Held them up she grabbed them back scrubbed them and thew back them. That's when I saw the stress crack in the frame... read more

I visited MyEyeDr. in Pooler on March 2023. The overall customer service was horrible. 1. Female associates treat man and women differently. They attended and were very flirtatious with the male customers, while I was totally ignored. 2. The assessment room reeked of mold (where the eyes are dilated with a technician) was not very clean and was not wiped in-between patients. 3. Received my glasses on time and MD was super friendly. Second time in two years. I go in for my appt. They accept my insurance and then bill me $40 additional a year later. And can’t tell me what’s it for. I paid my copay at time of services. I paid the last one. Not paying this one. They couldn’t even write a script because they said I needed surgery. I go to an Ophthalmologist. He writes me a new script. I have had the worst experience with My Eye Dr. I was sent to a special for an “issue” that thT specialist said did not exist. And still had to pay $300 for a specialist when nothing was wrong. I made the wrong decision to go back again just saw another optician… and they gave me the worst prescription. I gave it weeks as I suffered from headaches, nausea, and dizziness. I went back. They made my son see a doctor over a video call in their office instead of an actual human and then didn’t bother to tell us that since they made us do it over video the prescription would only be good for half the normal time. Now my son’s glasses have broken and he has to walk around blind for two months until the next available appointment because the prescription expired early.

After decades of going to a wonderful office in Oxford, PA they sold out to myeyedr.com. Dr. K is still there and he is wonderful. But now the office is POORLY run. 1) I showed up for my appt and was told that it was the wrong time. Not true as I wrote it down on my calendar as we arranged it earlier in the week. 2) My first pair of glasses were horrible. This review is specific to Myeyedr. The location address is **** ** ***** *** Horrible service and did not honor the warranty for my frames. The manager Jay R****** and assistant manager Jordana are the most incompetent, non customer service oriented people in the industry. They were rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I purchased my frames in addition the warranty offered at an additional cost. So did my husband. I had the same $400 Burberry frames replaced last year and was told at the time that they had to search high... read more

Please shut down this place! This is the worst business ever! Appointments are a joke. 2 hours later and still sitting at the office trying to figure out what is wrong with the computer! Do yourself a favor and get out of Winchester VA for an eye exam . These people are the worst ! Never again!

I paid 200 dollars to order contacts and they told me the RX they gave me was invalid because it had a DX on it.....so guess who now gets to eat the 200 dollars. This is bullshit and unprofessional. I am sorry I didn't have 12 hours to wait for the rude ass lady be hind the counter to print a prescription so I thought I would go online and print it so she would have to do her job. First of all legally they should give me a copy of my RX. But then I may leave and go somewhere else. And that is exactly what I will be doing aft... read more
