After our visit for our son, and paying nearly 600.00 after insurance, we received a bill months later saying we owed another 70.00. When I called, no one could tell me why or what it is for, just that we owe 70.00. I order glasses 3 months ago. They came in month and after wearing them briefly, I noticed that the lenses weren't correct. The lenses were reordered and I still haven't gotten the correct lenses after 3 months of waiting. The original lenses should have been checked before they were given to me. Corporate office won't talk to me or respond to my emails. Winchester VA office doesn't respond back either. I keep getting ignored and the run around. The people are arrogant, and very unprofessional. My visit to MyEyeDr in Georgetown, DE was very unprofessional. I arrived 10 minutes early for an 8AM appt, the door was locked and someone came to the door and saif they do not open until 8AM and go wait in my car. When I did get in the computers were down. The optometry tech who was doing the exam was mumbling, I said I could not understand her, and she asked if I was deaf or something. I pointed to my hearing aids and said yes. Worst company EVER!! They scam you AND YOUR INSURANCE!! I was told my insurance doesn’t cover lenses and that I had to pay OUT OF POCKET for just the lenses so reluctantly I paid my it. When I came to pick them up I went to use my $200 towards my contacts where I was then informed that THEY DID USE MY INSURANCE!! I would havebNEVER PAID $350 for JUST LENSES!!!! I never heard of such nonsense, just tried to schedule myself and 2 children. Was told that there is a cap on how many family members can be seen in one day. Huh, where do they do that, this is an exceptionally ignorant policy. I guess with the new technology my eye dr will be replaced bi AI ........

I ordered my mom glasses on 01/05/2023 I m still waiting for her glasses to come I brought her own frames we paid 270 dollars for lenses every time we call they tells us different answers and now they told me that they have lost or her frames have been broken or lost please help me out to get this issue resolved

My optometrist for nearly 30 years, and his staff, were consistently a pleasure. That experience quickly went south when the business changed to MyEyeDoctor. My last annual eye exam resulted in five...yes 5...returns of new eyeglasses because I simply didn't see clearly with them. Poor quality lenses from their eyeglass laboratory. I had Varilux progressive lenses for at least 25 years but each of the new lenses were just out of whack. Throughout the process the staff was courteous and apologetic. I was told that all I had was an inflammation on my eyelid which in fact was basal cell skin cancer that has to be removed and eyelid reconstructed! I can't believe that Dr. M******* didn't know or tell me that I should go to an M.D. How many more people will be misdiagnosed?

myeyedr Aberdeen, MD location caused an unjustified experience for my aunt. On Tuesday, 2/21/23 I took my aunt to pick up her glasses. The representative that fitted my aunt for her lenses was very pleasant and admitted to ordering incorrect tint. There was also a concern because my aunt could not see from the lenses that came in for pick up.
