Repairs beyond great The A+ Transmissions in Kingwood just repaired my Bonneville. They rectified the problem it came in for plus performed a number of small additional repairs at no additional charge. Shortly after I picked up the car my wife (the boss of me) noticed a small noise. I returned to the shop and was put to the front of the line and a small bushing in the front end was found to be bad. A+ Transmission is a Joke! Just like their paid reviews! 5 Stars? Really Everyone? You guys are lying out your butts to think this place is 5 stars! Done just right My recent repair with Jim at A+ was a positive experience. I had a week left before my job ended (I was stressed out). I was treated to sympathetic ear and a price break to enable my van to have it's transmission repair done. The van is working properly and no more check engine lights are on. My experience with this establishment was the ultimate in customer service and quality repairs.
Transmission repair at it's finest A+ Transmission rebuilt my Suburu's gear box recently. I have never been happier with the service or work quality anywhere. The crew took special care of my "baby" and the managers were the epitome of professionalism. The shop is clean and treats people with dignity. At A+ you get much more than you pay for.
BAD WORK I agree with the person that wrote under me. The people that are giving 5 stars deffently work there. These people are imossible to work with. All they want to do is give you the run around. I would never recomend this place to ANYONE
Hassle free repair I wanted to share a recent experience I had with A Plus Transmissions of Kingwood. My transmission quit working, I phoned Jim. He sent a service to pick up my Eclipse. It was repaired properly with no hassles or delays.I am happy with the quality of work. It beats making a car payment. Case closed.

THIS PLACE SUCKS! Whoever wrote these latest reviews must have been talking about a TOTALLY different A+ Tansmission or it was the owners writing their own reviews (That's what it sounds like when you read them)! Anyways I was waaaaay overcharged! I was suckered into the "Oh we'll take it apart for $500 and if there is something wrong with it will add it to the price of the repair" Well GUESS WHAT? IT WAS MORE THAN $500!!! On top of that and $1300 later my transmission did the same crap it did when I got it back!! Save yours... read more
I HIGHLY recommend them to family and friends I was pleasantly surprised to find the workmanship and employees to be 100 proof. My experience was a good one, the work was done right, promptly and priced within reason. My thanks to Jim and David for their kindness and guidance with my transmission repair. They are located at 300 Northpark in Kingwood.
