I <3 Envy – I followed my old stylist, Julie, to her new location at Envy Salon and applaud her for her excellent choice to seek employment there. It wasn't a far drive from north Austin and was easy to find right off the interstate. Parking was free and surprisingly for a "downtown" location, not a problem to find. Great Salon – Envy Salon in the best find in Round Rock. The staff is great and I love the prices. I got a hair cut that I love for the New year and will be returning for a new color.
Envy Salon Does Great Hair – When I went into Envy Salon for the first time, I was greeted with smiling faces. It was warm and energetic and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I called last minute for an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in. I am always a little nervous when I try a new salon but not this time. New ownership – I was reading the past bad reviews for this salon...No more gripping about the old owner or her daughter, they are gone! There is a new owner now. I was talking to him when I got my hair done the other day. Very nice guy! He was telling me his plans for the salon and they are going to make it full service! Yippie! I have always been a pleased customer! – I have always been very very pleased with Eilleen who I've been going to for the 3 years. She always takes time to listen to what I want since I love to change things up often. I always get my hair cut and highlighted and I just leave it up to her on what she decides to do. Why is this place even open? – I went for a hair cut and they were rude and seemed to be too busy to assist me. If they are SO busy then they need to take off the "walk ins welcome" sign. when I went in there I spoke with the owner, Mary. She was totally rude and blunt. They way she talked to her stylists was un-business like and I wouldn't be suprised if they all moved to a different shop. Go somewhere else!

Looks have changed. Services has changed. Old staff is gone with exception on Randa and Eileen. I am a consumer and customer service comes first in my book. Fantastic Every Time! – Julie has been my stylist and colorist for several years now and I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. She does a super great job keeping my hair its original blonde (not the color it is now - but what it once was :). She is always on time with appointments and very efficient. I used to spend hours in the chair getting my very long hair colored, cut and styled - I love that she can do a professional, perfect job in such a short (relatively) time. What a Rip Off !!!! – I was referred to Julie (who happens to be the owner's daughter).. I went to have my hair colored & highlights put in. She informed me I needed a color correction, but didn't tell me how much that would cost.. She did exactly the same thing that my last stlyist did, but called it something different & charged $80 more.. When I went to pay, she said it is $200 ( that didn't even include a hair cut & I was only in the salon for 1 1/2 hrs).. My hair looked no different than it did when I walked in the door... read more
Raves for Rose!! – I would like to highly recommend Rose Tong at Envy!!! She really pays attention to detail. I have never been so pleased with my highlights and my haircut also. No feeling of being rushed in and out, I got my moneys worth for sure. She goes above and beyond to get her clients seen. When I couldn't make an appointment at the salon and was in a pinch... I simply called her and she worked me in. Just ask for Rose at Envy, she is worth every penny.
