Francisco and Betty are always the best. Great friends and great food. Just the coolest place to eat in the valley.
We were staying in Grand Junction for the Palisade Peach Festival. We found MX Restaurante online and are so glad we did! Our experience is what we seek when dining out! Robert provided us with energetic and personable service. He made us the most delicious mojitos and margaritas. The kitchen creates delicious food with visual appeal. The owner, Francisco, visited each table to be sure we were pleased. We were extremely happy with our visit.
Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere, everything was delicious and fresh... The Tapas were very pretty and the service was awesome, and fast... I loved how it was served... I do wish they had more seafood tho, grilled octopus different varieties of fresh fish too.. maybe some tripe in a sauce and tortillas as an alternative to bread ... but, all in all my daughter and I loved it, and will be back...
The food is a very interesting and delicious fusion of Mexican and Spanish: think chile relleno with a Spanish twist or Mexican flavors served tapas-style with bread. The food is fresh and the owner uses high quality and local ingredients. The margaritas are great, and real fruit is used to make a variety of specials. Service was Terrible, people who came in after us got their food way before we did. I think the young man forgof to turn our order in. So beware.
