Mutual of Omaha was awesome they worked with me and my busy schedule to refinance my home , can’t say anything but Great things about there Refinance department.
Using Mutual of Omaha Mortgage was a painfully extenuated procedure. First they require $1200 up front to pay for expenses, then the evaluation period took over 4 months in which we were finally rejected. My husband is president/owner of a corporation and we wanted to refinance our investment property - a four-plex apartment. We have excellent credit, salary, fixed incomes and retirement investments. I am jealous of all the positive reviews. I wanted this experience and I had great expectations for this company but what I experienced was lots of delays and a horrible lack of communication to the point that even though I had 2 agents from the company on my email I had to escalate to a VP to get a response. I had to ask my questions multiple times and beg for answers. Now that my closing was 2 weeks ago I am STILL waiting for my loan to be funded and will likely have to make another payment to avoid a late fee. I called an... read more
The application process was easy. Loan officers were very responsive and kept me up to date along the way. Closing was COVID safe!
We had a lot of hurdles to overcome with the pandemic and all. Mutual of Omaha was very supportive during this trying time. We got the deal done and are very pleased with the refinancing process overall. Thank you Mutual of Omaha's entire team in making it happen!
Mutual of Omaha mortgage is the best! We work with their loan officers in our Louisville and Southern Indiana markets and they are fantastic. I also used them for my personal mortgage refi and was extremely happy on how smooth the process was. I highly recommend them!
