Efficient office, good treatment plan. Dr Rumi is very kind.
After waiting to see Dr Rumi he immediately noticed my mother needed to go to hospital. Once she was admitted he had MRI done and even though it was Easter and wasnt scheduled he had hospital set up immediate surgery that day. He found that she had an infection in her spine. He did not want to give it more time to spread. For that I am very grateful we selected the right Dr. Who truly cared.
He is very specific about his operations. And what to expect great bedside manner. Fredy Moya
I have been going to Dr. Rumi whenever there’s a sports injury and his pragamatic but deep insights have helped accurately diagnose and fix the issues. He literally has the pulse right on all the bone and muscleIssues.
Went in on a referral. Got an MRI. Traveled to CO to see my new grandson. Had a telehealth appt with this Dr. He showed up but we had technical difficulties during the visit. After sending numerous messages through the telehealth app I realized this "doctor" left me hanging. I have left no less than 4 messages for a follow up with him to get 0 responses. Now I'm leaving this horrible review so nobody else endures such a rotten experience as myself. I'm firing this guy and getting a real doctor who actually cares about my iss... read more
Dr. Rumi advised that he could relieve pain in neck with surgery, first attempt, he could not go through neck from front. Brought me out from under anesthesia, set surgery to go in from back. Came out from that with no movement of limbs. Suggested a second surgery 2 days later, but no difference. After that, I was in ICU then rehab hospital, skilled nursing facilities and after two years, still in a power chair and most likely will be the rest of my life. Only contact after surgery was when he had to call and release me from... read more
He really didn't explain exactly what he thought the problem could be, just ordered x-rays and MRI. I've called twice, left messages and my calls were never returned. Will listen to what he has to say and then find another dr.
apparently I was told we were just wasting his time. After an out patient surgery turned into a 24 day hospital stay. ICU stay and a pulmonary embolism. I took my husband in because he was feeling a great deal of pain and was advised to see the surgeon who had performed the surgery. Only to find out he was just a waste of his time.
So far, after working with Dr. Rumi for a year, I have appreciated his conservative approach to trying all other available options (PT, Pain Management, injections) prior to recommending surgery. He is a matter of fact, and cordial, but obviously takes his job as a doctor seriously and his patient's health seriously. He will not tell you what you want to hear, but will tell you the truth, which is refreshing. He has always maintained professional boundaries and is very thorough. Surgery soon.
