RecommendedLove this place! Great service, excellent skill with repairs, and they help me learn a little about my instruments every time I bring something in for repair. I've been going to this store and the previous spot on north loop for years after some very talented musicians recommended them for gear repair. And the guitars they sell are serviced to perfection, talk about integrity! I've been in quarantine and can't wait to get in to get one of my basses looked at lol! ...

As a long time Austin resident and amateur musician this has always been my " go to " spot for any kind of musical needs. I miss the old location up the street from me but they lost nothing in terms of service after the move. They've done excellent set ups on all my guitars and are universally acclaimed by every musician I know. I'm heading there this morning, decided to do a write up before heading out
It says something about a guitar shop when you pull a guitar off the wall and it's actually in tune. I went in on a whim, saw a Hamer Sunburst that I had to have. It was in beautiful shape, but it was also obvious that the guitar was given some attention. Polished frets, new strings, and a spotlessly cleaned & polished guitar. The woman there found a great fitting hard case for it, and after I bought it, she spent more time to wipe down the whole guitar and the case. She also gave me advice on flying with the guitar. I've been taking my guitars here (and at their previous location on North Loop) for nigh on 20 years. Every guitar I've taken to them, and there have been dozens, has come back better. More than once they've taken a guitar about which I was on the fence, and turned it into a beloved and indispensable instrument. I call them the Trem Whisperers.
