I was treated with respect by staff. I felt in capable hands before my services began. The only thing I did not care for is that the facility or staff allows families to attend private appointments and did not make space for a private moment to occur.
Scheduling is always a hassle. We have asked several times to make visits virtual and they always seem to forget. The day of my wife’s appointment she always has to call and ask again for it to be a virtual visit. This time, she got the virtual link after calling before her appointment, and then they marked her as a no-show. She clicked the link and was waiting for a provider. I was treated as capable and just like every other professional would be expected to be treated. I was handled with dignity and care and while I have yet to even start the process, I am already extremely pleased with the services and respect I received.

I have been through PHP twice because of very difficult times in my life and it has been the best of all of the many counselors/programs that I tried over the years. It teaches coping skills, and it really TEACHES them, not just have chat fests or complaint fests that most counseling consists of in most places. And it follows up with weekly counseling that continues with help with coping skills.
