My mother is currently being treated in this awful place where when we asked questions about her prognosis we were given false information in an attempt to have us discharged from the hospital sooner when I confronted the situation was given a fake apology and my mother was 're diagnosed was told she could not have a room because they were all full, yet when I walked the hall looking for someone because my mother coughed so hard she projectile vomited all over the lobby their were multiple empty rooms and I ended up walking ... read more

I delivered our second daughter on August 13th, and she was 5wks early. I had the best care in L&D and recovery, which was a blessing since I had a bad experience with my first daughter in California. My little one (and I!) had the best care while she was the NICU for a week. They always made sure we had items for pumping, knew what was going on with her care, and cheered on every moment. Our night nurses, Cassie and Hadley, were especially incredible! They were there when I needed someone to talk to during the lonely nights... read more

The family was never informed what prognosis was on my 90 year old mother, who fell and broke her neck in 5 places, broke her nose, smashed her face and cut her leg. Most of the nurses were nice,. The Social services for this hospital was horrible. She was confused, rude, patronizing and in the course of trying to preform her job, totally uninformative. The communication to the family was nonexisitant. Such a disappointing, frustrating experience. She was in ICU three days when I was asked if I would be driving her to the nu... read more

My youngest daughter, Alexxis, was transfer to Tacoma General Level IV on September 13th, 2015. The nurses and staff was amazing. Made us feel welcomed.. While our stay there, I had my 17 month old with me. The nurses help me keep her entertain while I was doing care time with my youngest. Or when I was nursing. I appreciate the NICU nurses and everyone who helped us. One thing I think would help the parents there who have older children is to have someone there who can help them. Keep the other children entertained while pa... read more

You don't want to know my honest opinion!!! This ER sucks. The rest of the hospital may be nice but go somewhere else with your emergency.

Labor and delivery section- The labor and delivery nurses were phenomenal! I have never been treated with such respect and care from any nurse. Tami was training and was amazing with me through almost the entire labor. Steph was a god send through the labor and after my c section. She went above and beyond and made my entire delivery so memorable and worth all the hard work. I couldn't have gotten a better nurse. THANK YOU to the entire labor and delivery staff. I will be spreading the word about my care through the birth of... read more
