My son spent 5 months in Tacoma General ICU Unit on 4th floor and 5th floor for 4 months and then on to the 5th floor of Rainier Pavilion. We were blessed with the most phenomenal staff of Drs, Nurses, Pulmonary and Respiratory therepists. God bless you all. It is because of all of you that Todd survived and is doing well today and that I mentally and physically survived. There were days where it looked grim but none of us would give up. Love you all!
I've had to visit this hospital a few times and every time, I encountered nothing but kind and caring people and I honestly felt like I was "somebody" because the treatment was by far, the best I've ever had in any medical facility. They made me feel part of a family ^_^ and now they're my preferred place to go for any medical need. TGH staff <3 VA Hospital's staff need to take lessons from Tacoma General Hospital's staff! After having procedures in most of the area hospitals over the years, I was very fortunate to have had my neck fusion at TG. The staff was superb and the facility exceptional. Thank you Multicare for taking great care of me.
Love this hospital wouldn't go anywhere else to have my baby boy (:
This place has been wonderful so far!! Everyone is so nice!! We could not be happier!! :)
Not a very family friendly hospital at all.. If you choose an RN for your occupation but don't like children then don't work on the children's floors there are kids in this area that need love and affection, and friendly smiling faces...not rude scowls and grumpy rude nurses!! It's scary enough having to be in the hospital as a child let alone have a mean scary nurse scowling and snapping at you when you ask questions...
Thanks to all the staff on the 8th floor for taking GREAT care of my Dad and returning him home in mostly one piece... unfortunately you kind of spoiled him and now he wants me to care for him like you did,,, on 2nd thought...pbbtbtbtb (just joking) thanks again!
I have been going to TG for the past three years almost every weekend to get a cup of coffee and breakfast in the mostly unused cafeteria. Yesterday, just as I arrived, I was approached by security who asked me if I had any "business" at the hospital. I told him I was just getting some breakfast and he informed me that since I had no "business", I could not "hang out" there and that I would have to leave.
