Awesome bar with great food, taplist and staff. My wife and I checked it out for the first time today and couldn't have been more impressed. Cubano breakfast sandwich and eggs Benedict were phenomenal. Damien (bartender) was fantastic, making us feel right at home. Would recommend to anyone!
So last weekend after leaving Lago Taco on an empty stomach because they couldn't veganize our food, we decided to try our luck down at Muddy Waters for brunch. Went in, got a table, looked at the menu, nothing vegan. Unbelievable! It is preposterous that in Uptown 2 restaurants strike out on us by not having vegan options! I can name a handful of neighboring restaurants that offer plenty of vegan food that I frequent regularly. Extend vegan options to your brunch menu, not just lunch and dinner please.
Had brunch here today and ordered my favorite, the breakfast poutine, which was sumptuous as always. But the best part of my visit was my server Dominic who was so attentive, hospitable, and sweet that really made my experience there �����

Used to be a favorite. Maybe they got new management, because they have slipped in quality of service and value in their offerings.
It was my first time at Muddy Waters and it was excellent, food was really good (I had Plantain Fries and Pork Sliders) and service was really amazing. I brought my 10 month old with and our service offered to her something! I have been out to eat a lot with her not one server offered to get her anything. I couldn't find anything on the menu for my daughter (she is just starting solids) but I was still appreciative of the offer.
