We love it! – I see Libby Costello, a nurse practitioner here and she is AMAZING! She will run any and all tests I want, she makes me feel super comfortable. She has never discounted my feelings and has always treated me, my children and my husband with the most respect. The office staff is a little bit flighty and the billing department can be as well. BUT as long as she is there...so am I.
awesome office – I've been going to this office, with the same doctor, i might add, for 18 years. The doctors, nurses and front desk personnel are all knowledgeable and have the patients' best interests at heart, and since it's a small practice, it's not at all impersonal like some can be.
DR JOHN DENKER IS A GREAT DOCTOR! – I HAVE GONE TO THIS CLINIC FOR FORTY YEARS AND IT SADDENS ME TO SEE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. THE FRONT DESK PERSONNEL MAY NOT BE THE BEST, BUT WE ABSOLUTELY ADORE DR DENKER AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY OF OUR FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES.
A Nurse Practitioner Who Listens – I found Mt Tabor Medical Group on Citysearch when I first moved to SE Portland four years ago. They are an old-fashioned, friendly local medical office. Karen Reisinger is my Nurse Practitioner. She spends more time with me than health care providers I have had in the past. She REALLY LISTENS and is not dismissive of my thoughts about my health. A Neighborhood Health Clinic with Heart – Mt. Tabor clinic is in the process of undergoing a huge transformation. New providers, new processes and an environmental "face lift" in addition to a state of the art electronic medical record system are in the works. Dr Hamley left, so I tried one of the other docs... – It didn't work out so well, though some of the desk staff were pleasant and the lab techs helpful.
Avoid at all costs – Horrible experience with staff at this medical group. Was charged incorrect amounts each time I showed up and was presented a bill two months later for nearly the amount I had paid for the three previous visits combined. Argued until I was blue in the face with the staff, they really don't care and seem to enjoy getting me frustrated. They threatened to take me to collectioins over their mistakes. Just plain bad underhanded business, take your money elsewhere.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! HORRIBLE – HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. JUST CALL THE OFFICE.....GUARANTEED YOU WILL BE PUT ON HOLD. WAIT IN WAITING ROOM FOR HOURS. CAN'T HELP BUT NOTICE THE OUTDATE FILING SYSTEM. HAVE NEVER EVER EVER BEEN HELPED FOR MY MEDICAL ISSUE AT THIS CLINIC. FIND A PLACE WHERE THEY TRULY CARE. BEWARE OF GETTI NG THE PROPER MEDICAL HELP AT THIS CLINIC.
awful. – They make you wait for hours. The FNP Karen Reisinger has got to be the most flighty and irresponsible. She would forget to give me my scripts at the end of our visit and when I would go to remind her, she was already in a different office. She promised to call in the scripts but it would take at least 3 days. Plus, she charges far more than any of the other NP. She's crazy and I think on SOMETHING.
