Worst Doctor, Worst Experience Ever – Went in for a foot referral, lot of pain. Doctor refused to give a referral and told me to come back when my foot was infected! Refused to help me, wasted my time - and charged me a bundle on top of it! Terrible place.
THERE THE BEST – Hey there if you are looking for a great place where people really care... this is the place. Anna Urbanc and her assittance are the best. Anna is up todate and takes her time in addressing all of your concerns, her ast. is also friendly and willing to help answer any questions. They are the best in giving a call back in a timely manner. Can't go wrong with this group, the front desk is also great.... book keeping... well they are just working in a tuff eco. time for all of us. So be prepared to pay up front... read more
Coming back! – Left Mt. Tabor for a while, because my doctor went to Bridge City......but after going there, I have decided to return. Not going to write derogatory things about that clinic, just going to say, it is good to be back to people who REALLY care!
Mt. Tabor Medical Group – Anna Urbanc was not only thorough and efficient, but also friendly and comfortable to be around and ask questiuons of. Advice was practical and well informed. This is a clinic with a "real people" rather than an assembly line atmosphere. I feel a strong sense of confidence in Anna which is important as I go through menopause and approach those "later in life" health concerns.
Great care – I have a lot of health concerns and have been treated well here. Libby Costello-Guard is exceptional! Don't be thrown off by the other negative remarks. I have horror stories from other medical providers, but not this group. If you get Libby you are in very good hands!
privacy--hello!? – It felt weird being sat down in an exam room with the door hanging wide open. The assistant weighed me, and then took me to the exam room where a male worker was literally right outside the door doing some sort of paper work. I could hear the leafs of paper turning as I sat in my chair. She proceeded to ask me what I was there for. I told her one thing, and before she took my blood pressure I said, "Can we close the door??" It was only then I felt comfortable telling her the other reasons I made the visit.... read more
Dr. Denker is great – I started seeing Dr. John Denker when I moved back to Portland from California in 2006. For those people who have complained about service at Mt. Tabor Medical, please, try getting any good service anywhere in California...I have found Mt. Tabor to be fine administratively and Dr. Denker is a very funny, nice, sincere guy. Unsympathetic People – My fiance called in after having an episode on the floor where he couldn't get up and couldn't breathe. He had pulled a BAD muscle and was having spasms, and we thought he may have broken a rib. So, I call the doctor. The unprofessional receptionist transferred us to a nurse, who we thought would help us. But after describing how much pain he was in, she said, "You have an outstanding balance of $80, how can you pay for that today?" My fiance's pain and concern wasn't as important as $80 funky ass doll... read more
We love it! – I see Libby Costello, a nurse practitioner here and she is AMAZING! She will run any and all tests I want, she makes me feel super comfortable. She has never discounted my feelings and has always treated me, my children and my husband with the most respect. The office staff is a little bit flighty and the billing department can be as well. BUT as long as she is there...so am I.
