2,000.00 dollar laptop purchased at the beginning of 2018. Had a year warranty covering the laptop as a whole. Called beginning of October 2018 because it would turn off right after powering up. Received shipping info and called back to clarify details. I was told the warranty was a month past and would have to pay 70 dollars just for them to accept it at the door. This does not include shipping to them or actually fixing the laptop. 2,000.00 paperwieght. These people are crooks.
Business response:
We will follow up with the customer via email and look to review and check SN and warranty for the laptop. If was purchased at the time stated then would still be under our warranty. Will send customer an email to the one provide by the customer. Thank you,
My GT62vr 6re Dominator Pro has been a phenomenal computer since i purchased it in May 2017!! During the 1st week of July my Laptop started Rebooting while under CPU stress. I then contacted the Technical Support team & was told to send the computer in to get checked out. Today is August 9th & I am about to be on my way to a 3rd RMA in the past 30 days!!! This has been the most Horrendous Technical support experience i've had in my entire life!! The Tech Support team originally told me my LCD screen was defective, my screen... read more
I bought an MSI graphics card about a year ago and had minimal problems with it until a couple months ago. The ReLive feature wouldn't work half the time and a couple of games were freezing/crashing. I sent it in for repairs and it took an entire month for them to even begin repairing it. Whenever I would contact them about it still being in the receiving process, they would tell me they were in the middle of repairing it which didn't seem to be the case. It took another 2 weeks for them to finally finish repairing it and sh... read more

We do apologize for the extended TAT with the RMA. Our general TAT is stated from 15-35 business days. We do our best to get all RMA's out within that time frame or even sooner. But there are times when there are issues as far as replacements or parts to come in to make the repair. And none of this is intentional on any level this is the last type of complaint we want to have. We will look to follow up with the customer according to the name and email address that review was left under. So as long as that is the name and ema... read more
WE broke the screen on our laptop 5 weeks after we bought it. the were very honest and quick in the repair. turn around was less than a week even though they quoted 2 weeks. Later we found the camera broken the they voluntarily paid shipping both ways
Business response:
We are glad to be of service and look to do our best to do all we can to help our customers. Thank you,
I bought this computer with the idea of â??â??being an excellent machine for work and from this then I had problems with the lid that broke with no apparent reason. After sending the computer for maintenance and getting it back I noticed it came with more problems than solution. My computer came with dents, webcam not installed properly and the worst thing I noticed was the ventilation that is exposed mashed and broken by some screwdriver. Simply a bad experience with a computer that costs $ 1,600 but the worst is experience... read more

We are in contact with the customer and he has been issued an RMA number with a pre-paid shipping label. The laptop is on the way in and the repair center will process the RMA express service. They also have been made aware of the reported damages and they will make a full repair. They will fully test it after all repairs are done and also take pictures of the laptop prior to it leaving. Thank you,
Two months ago I sent in an RMA for my GPU and from the start it was a terrible experience. The customer service agent stopped responding to me while I was trying to get help troubleshooting and instead sent an RMA number and ignored me. I sent in the product and waited 2 weeks with no response and finally called for them to say on the spot "We cant replace it, they will be with you shortly with an offer" meaning they already knew, but weren't calling me. Two days later, a representative tells me they can offer me 120 dollar... read more

First off we wish to apologize for any and all inconvenience that the customer has experienced. And for the delays that occurred during the RMA process and the communication issues that occurred as well. At the time of this response the advanced replacement card has been shipped which was 3/26/2018 2nd day and according to the tracking number has been delivered today 3/28/2018. Our RMA TAT in house does range depending on issue and availability 15-30 business days. That info is stated on the RMA email when it is received but... read more
So I spent $1600+ on a gp72 leopard which had some good specs and it worked good at the start, the keyword here is "worked". 2 months after my purchase the fan completely failed and upon checking the temperature via the dragon center my CPU temperature was at 96 degrees C. it turns out to be quite a common issue for MSI and sent it in the repair. I spent over a month waiting for them to fix this while the technician James ** who was my contact with the company at the time for my repair said he swapped my fan but after I aske... read more

After doing research on this we found that the customer has been in contact with one of our supports personal here. They are working with the Canadian repair center to offer a replacement for the laptop. That is the latest info we have regarding this case. Thank you,
MSI products are not worth the time and money. I bought their flagship graphics card, a GTX 780ti, for over $600. It arrived DOA. I was able to get a replacement through Amazon. As soon as the warranty ended the card died. Impeccable timing. A flagship card should not be dying after 3 years. I contacted MSI to see if there was anything they could do, considering that this was my second card thus eating warranty time and that it was a huge purchase. Nothing, not even a discount on a new card. Customer service, which spoke imp... read more
Business response:
We are sorry for the card failure and that according to the SN was 4-5 months outside the 3 year warranty. We did offer an OOW RMA where there would be charges for that if we had parts and or a replacement card same model available. The customer rejected this offer so there is no other course of action t proceed with. The is out of warranty pas the 3 year so we just cannot offer any other type of service than what was offered. We are sorry to hear that the card has failed and if was still in warranty we would be sure to prov... read more
Purchased a MSI branded gaming laptop. After two months, the screen developed a bight dot pixel off the center of the display. MSI will not warrant it because it is within their "standards," and is considered an acceptable display. Some of their competition offers much better warranties on their displays - such as 0 bright dot guarantees.
Business response:
MSI does have a dead pixel policy in place link below. So if the LCD panel were to have a dead pixel it would have to fall under that in order for RMA service. We believe that for the most part this is industry standard but some manufacturers may not have such a policy. Even if we were the only ones if would still be in effect for any dead pixel. So we do understand the customer frustration and are sorry service cannot be provided but that policy is in place. Thank you, ************************************
