I received a Monitor model number OPTIX MAG272CR and within 3 days, the LCD started to fail by showing a horizontal and vertical line of dead/defective pixels and waves in the color. I did not keep the original box because it was far too large to store in my apartment. I had to send it in for warranty repair to MSI and paid $90 to ship it to them only for it to get further damaged in shipping to MSI (I followed all of their instruction of how to ship it back without the original packaging) and they then told me since its phy... read more

Ordered parts from MSI in California for my gaming laptop. Just needed a couple parts for broken components. The gentleman in charge of the parts department, Tom Ho, was very helpful in getting me a form and taking my money for the parts, however once the parts were ordered, it was almost impossible to get any response to questions regarding how long it would take to get the parts. He was very unhelpful and uncooperative and wouldn't reply/respond to emails! Must've sent several emails with no reply back and I have specific ... read more

Business response:

Dear Customer, We do apologize for the response time on your request. We will have Tom reach out to you immediately with an update. Thank you,

Bought an MSI card with $30.00 Steam card promotion. November 25th I bought an MSI motherboard with a $30.00 Black Friday 2020 Steam gift card. To redeem the gift card, I had to register the serial number of the device to their website. Successfully registered, MSI responded that I need to enter the S/N found on the motherboard. Rechecking, I confirmed that I entered the correct S/N. I then sent them the proof of purchase, invoice and receipt. Still they responded that I need to re-enter the serial number. They sent me a ... read more

Business response:

MSI has refused to comment on why they haven't shipped the graphics card I ordered on the 6th this November and has deleted both mine and others public comments and questions on this issue on Reddit and Amazon. The fact that support wont give any other assistance than "you may purchase this when it returns to stock later" when I have already checked out and am waiting for shipping is enough to complain. Removing comments on public platforms without responding or explaining why the card hasn't shipped is malicious. scalping c... read more

I bought a high end MSI laptop from Best Buy for $2,500 in April 2020. The camera and audio jack never worked. I returned it under an RMA in July. MSI eventually provided warranty service but poor communication made it a harrowing experience. For weeks after they received it they could not locate it at their repair facility. They have a tracking system that they did not use. Only after I submitted proof of delivery from USPS did MSI eventually locate it, but even then they did not actually acknowledge that they had it. I inf... read more

Unfortunately, the motherboard for my daughter's PC died and the company was unwilling to do an advanced RMA. As she is doing at home learning due to the coronavirus at this time, this puts me in a terrible position. I contacted the company on 10/16/2020 at 1:30PM and that was regrettably their response. So regrettably, I am now scrambling to figure out an option since the company cannot do better than 15-35 day turnaround (Not including shipping).

Business response:

We do apologize but we do not currently have any advanced RMA service available at this time. We are looking to try to implement that service back once we are back in the office. But again we are sorry and do apologize. Thank you,

Earlier this year I purchased a Radeon RX 5700 XT Evoke OC. The video card would crash under load. I work in IT so I did my due diligence in swapping out parts, applying updates, fresh windows installs, even testing it in a completely different computer altogether to the same result. At this point I RMA'd the card for the first time (And paid for the shipping, as MSI does not cover this, and insurance on the shipment, as they will not repair/replace items damaged in shipping) After some time, the RMA was completed and I rece... read more

Business response:

We have reached out to the customer via phone and left a message. We were ale to pull up based off his email the previous RMA numbers for the card RRDXXXXXXXX and RRDTXXXXXXXX. We had to leave a message on the customer VM but we will continue to follow up with the customer in order to get this resolved. Thank you,

MSI claims that I improperly filled out rebate offers for computers and that they mailed notices claiming that they were denied. I followed the process to a T as stated on their website. The notices never arrived via mail and since there were two computers to two different addresses and neither person got the notice it is OBVIOUS these notices were never mailed. Besides the point, correspondence about the "process" of the rebate was stated to be via e-mail after the rebate was submitted. SCAMMERS. Never buy from them.

Be extremely wary before purchasing an MSI product. Products contain shoddy lithium ion batteries. My MSI laptop could have caught fire and directly endangered my family and assets. Company feels despite the fact they sold you something shoddy and dangerous that you should pay them to repair the damage caused. This company has no ethics or morals.
