We were simply trying to get a quote on an outlet that was tripping the breaker. The electrician walked in and within 2 minutes and without diagnosing the problem, he told me it would cost over $280.00 (as a flat rate). and possibly could cost more. When I talked to the company before they sent someone out, I asked what would it cost for the diagnostics? I was told nothing. It could be a $10 part or a $1,000.00 repair. what every happened to the electrician comes in with a $50 or $75 service fee to diagnose the problem, THEN... read more
I felt the simple work I had them do was more expensive than it should have been. However,, they were prompt to respond , professional, and did a good job, very quickly. All said, heir excellent service was worth the extra $$$ they charged.
Installed outlet and hooked to junction box.
Too expensive.
