My husband and I discovered Mr Bones over 20 years ago and remembered the food being really good then so revisited this year - we were not disappointed! The Jumbalaya was lovely as were the quesadillas and burrito. I totally recommend the desserts too! We’ll be back again before the end of our vacation and again next time we are visiting AMI!
We just by chance stoped by to pick up some pulled pork for sandwiches. Wow were we surprised as I live in the BBQ Capital, North Carolina. The pulled pork was absolutely some of the best I have ever tasted. The Potato salad and cole slaw was absolutely killer. We will definitely be going back while we are here vacationing. If you like really good pulled pork, look no father than this place. You will not be disappointed.
An absolute must! the gumbo, candied yams and burrito are to die for!
So you would never think I could get the best freaking vegan meal at a place called Mr.Bones BBQ. Lol. But it was perhaps the best vegan dish I have ever had in a restaurant. I got Thai Coconut Curry Tofu with Asian Veggies. You guys, I loved it so much that I forgot to take a pic of it. Lol. The fam loved their BBQ as well! Also, they don’t serve you straws because of helping the sea life like the beloved turtles that nest here. That makes me so happy���
