My advice? Find another moving company!! I was told that the movers aren't young guys but men who have been doing this job for years and really care about doing a good job...I was told that they could make shelves for my precious antique furniture and plants...I was told a lot of things that never happened! Instead, my antique furniture was trashed, boxes labeled "fragile" were caved in because they had heavy objects on top of them and many irreplaceable items were crushed. I even had to go through my home to make sure that they packed everything and I found a whole cabinet with my dishes that still weren't packed and they all had already taken off except one guy who I ran after, so he packed it up for me. When I saw them open the back of the truck I cringed when I saw how they packed my furniture!! They hired kids that threw my furniture around because they were in a hurry to go home. When they forgot 3 important boxes that I had to call and tell them about they wanted me to meet them over 20 miles away to pick them up. I paid them A LOT of money and tipped the movers on both ends VERY WELL and I'm literally heartsick over what they've done to my precious antiques. I was going to wait to critique this company but every time I open something I find another damaged item. I've been through over a dozen moves in my life but I've never seen such unnecessary damage over such careless and thoughtless moving!!
