I was under the care of this doctor for a very short time. Unfortunately, despite my complex and well-documented medical history, they made quick assumptions about me without doing proper investigation, testing, or thorough review of my records. Their decisions felt more rooted in fear of liability than genuine patient care, which caused unnecessary distress and disruption in my treatment plan. I hope this doctor takes patient history and individual circumstances more seriously in the future.
Unresponsive, unhelpful, lack of empathy, charges annual fee for extra support that isn’t provided. Unhelpful office. Currently without meds with no assistance from the Dr. Or his office.
Dr. Moussai is the most incredible psychiatrist and therapist. He's extremely intelligent and qualified, and his knowledge of conditions and medications is superior. He does a thorough evaluation and gets to know his patients before treating them. Then, he will provide his medical opinion and encourage you to look into it, discuss it with your therapist, spouse, etc., recognizing that he doesn't have all the data points from patients lives. After sizing me up in the first 10 minutes of the appointment and making a jabbing comment about my body shape (for reference, this was a teledoc appointment), Dr. Moussai informed me that he couldn't provide any help OR even suggestions with the disorder my therapist of three years had diagnosed me with. I've been with Dr. Moussai for just about 3 years. He is highly personable and really cares about his patients. I would reccomend him to anyone. Even with moving further away from his office, I still drive an hour each way because he is that great.
