I love Mountain Winery with one exception. We wanted to see Ziggy and made the trip from Overland Park KS . We had a lovely dinner and all was well until the when the people in front of us stood up after the first song and just stood there. We couldn't see anything. They were not dancing, just standing , blocking the view. In Kansas City at the Starlight Theater they have a guard seated looking at the front rows and if the rudeness starts they stop it immediately..We left, expensive seats and a ruined evening. Gorgeous setting, beautiful weather and great music. One downer, the Pinot Grigio was not very good at all. We had a great time!
The road to Mountain Winery is dangerous. It is narrow and in poor condition, even with recent repairs. People die every year when they drive over the side of road after the concerts. The employees are rude. Two employees were rude to me and my family. They serve alcohol to drunk guests. One woman was passed out in the restroom at the end of the event. It is dangerous to drive down the hill with so many drunk guests driving.
RecommendedEvery time I go there the worst tickets are still awesome. The employees there from the concessions to parking always make it great. Last show was Ron White and he was awesome and with the venue made it perfect.
Gipsy Kings were amazing as always 3 years in a row 🏆🏆🏆
I saw Ron White, and he was Hilarious!! Venue was beautiful, staff so-so, food in the Chateau Restaurant (Below Average) Quality of Applebee's or worse ... There are better values out there. Wear bug repellent instead of cologne because there as annoying fruit flies everywhere!
