Way too strict these days. The police everything from tailgating to picnics and yet the overcharge for mediocre wine in a plastic cup. They can't turn up the volume because of their ungrateful and pompous neighbors complaints, and they will literally cut off Artist at curfew time right in the middle of thier song. Who does that? This place used to be awesome and amazing years ago. But now days which is a corporate machine
I absolutely loved it! I saw 10 bands from the 80's last night and they were all awesome. The sound quality was great! The people were great so was the food on the chateaux deck. I had no problem paying $20 for parking... If I go to a concert anywhere else I know it's going to be at least that much or more. And the price of the food and drinks, also a concert event, I know it's a concert so I'm going to anticipate a higher cost. Last night was my first experience at the Mountain Winery..... I think it's the best place to see a show, small venue with usually more mature crowd which is perfect for the middle age group that doesn't want the drunks, drug addicts and any other drama that usually comes with concerts.
The road getting there and back is scary. Go early.
My favorite place in the world to see a concert - have been going there since the 80's, way before the remodel. It has changed with the times - renovations, and of course, increased prices - but living in the Bay Area it was to be expected that it wouldn't stay intimate for as long as it did. For those who complain about the food- tailgate and enjoy the amazing view. One of my favorite venues. You can sit anywhere and have a great view.. Love it
First time visiting. What a perfet venue. Loved everything. The concert was incrediblr and very intimate. The food was good but expensive. We came from Stockton and loved the night. My only complaint was the bathrooms.... not enough. Will visit again.
