A friend and I was there for Dwight Yoakam concert and it was one of the best shows I have seen there BUT I have to also say Emily who is a staff member she was working the ADA section is one of the best employees I have ever met there. We were not sitting in that section we passed through and she was helpful to us answering all her questions that we had she helped us take a picture and we took it with her during her breaks. I had great seats unfortunatley the sound mix was poor, the instruments were too loud that you couldn't hear the vocals. A decibels reader should have been used. I had to leave my seat because the music was so loud it was causing pain and possible damage to my hearing . Also 3 bands was too much. Dwight only played 50 minutes.
Let me be clear. I love Mountain Winery. Great food on the deck. My wife and I have attended two concerts at this venue. The first was great!! But the Dwight Yoakam concert was not good. He performed well, but whoever was in charge of the sound and mixing board, did a terrible job. Constant feedback during the entire concert. This should have been corrected immediately after the first time it occurred. But the venue itself, is great. It is a very beautiful place.
King Leg the opening act for Dwight Yoakum was awesome. He sounded a little Dwight, a little Roy Orbison and a little Buck Owens. Looking forward to their CD coming out in Oct.
Dwight rocked the winery stage! Hillbilly music, the only thing that keeps me hangin' on!

Possibly the best show I've seen there this year...Certainly the most well-attended...which, unfortunately, isn't saying a lot, since at least half the shows I have attended were somewhere near half empty...It appears that a new Program Director may be in order...someone who has a better grip on the proper balance between selecting bands that will appeal to a more reliable, concert-going age group that will come closer to selling out the venue, while not going TOO young and attracting a crowd that is inappropriate, from a be... read more
