My nurse also had a poor bedside manner. Last night I was there for a work related accident which required x-rays. Nobody explained the results to me or cleaned up my scrapped or even bandaged my knee which after being released I read on the paperwork was sprained. I was released with a prescription for Vicodin but no instructions on what it was or how/when to use it. If given a choice I will not be returning to Mountain West Medical Center for emergency care. We received the best care from everyone on staff and even the Grantsville EMT'S that happened to be there . My husband was kept overnight despite EKG showing no heart attack , all signs pointed that way . This morning we receive the horrible news that he had indeed suffered a heart attack and he was transferred to Salt Lake City Memorial Hospital where will he undergo an open heart bypass . My mom had surgery and was admitted. She has received top notch care every step of the way.
I have almost always had poor care at this hospital especially in the ER. But this last Monday night/Tuesday morning I had to have emergency surgery and have my appendix removed. All the staff was kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. I was truly impressed with all the staff.
Was in the women's center, everyone was great! My nurses Belle & Amy were wonderful always there and helpful to me & my husband. The doctor would call my husband personally to up date him and everyone new who he was and his name. They checked me out but said I could stay as long as I wanted to. I'm very impressed!
We just delivered our second baby boy at this wonderful hospital. The nursing staff is always on top of it and most important of all caring. The care my wife recived was superb. A big shout out to nurse Jena in the delivery and labor you made our visit special, you went above and beyond. Thank you!
I was treated so good there by the nurses and Dr Christopher Barrett he saved me thank u so much
All of my nurses were wonderful and friendly and I love Dr. Alan Jones. I would recommend this place to anyone.
