I gave birth to my son at this hospital this past Friday. The overall experience was ok. The hospital in itself is very nice. What I felt was missing was the personal welcoming tone, especially to women who just delivered a baby. All the nurses did their job, but there was no personality. During my stay, I met only one. On my last day, I waited a very long time to be discharged, I was walked to the front door and the car was not even checked for s car seat. My daughter is six and I delivered her at LIJ. Excellent nurse care, excellent pain management, excellent food, and an excellent neurosurgeon. I am very pleased with this hospital's treatment of patients—a total 180° from other Long Island hospitals where I was an inpatient.
What a wonderful experience, Everyone was so genuine and caring.They treated the patient with the absolute best care.The E2 unit deserves to be acknowledged for what they do.Knee replacement went well,aftercare set up and explained. Nurses were fantastic. I've been to Several hospitals and this one is top notch.only thing missing is a cafeteria I've been here for days and only was able to eat from the gift shop.Also patients need better toothpaste. Lol
Just wanted to say thank you to all the nurses in labor and delivery for taking care of me and my baby girl , you guys are amazing
My wife went to emergency room at 8:40 p.m. tonight with severe abdominal pain. It is now 11:05 p.m. and we still have not been seen. If my wife was not in such excruciating pain we would have left. So many people have already left without being seen because you could die of old age waiting to be seen here. I will never come here again and neither should you.
This facility is Non-hygienic! South Nassau community hospital is doing a very terrible thing to a lot of people in their community and these bastards have the nerve to advertise this disgusting place on TV . These folks work hand in hand with the NYPD through their psychology department in the worst way possible . These are the last people to be trusted along with every other hospital in America wanting our insurance money !
